The team at Castlemartyr approached us to create & define two diverse & exceptional experiences all in the one resort. The brief was to capture the modern tranquillity of the 5 star amenities while retaining the history of the 18th century classic manor house. The team wanted to communicate the resort vision in a clear and simple way – internally and externally. The rebrand needed to capture the harmony & tranquillity of the property and offset this with the ambition & professionalism of the team. Their vision is to provide consistently superior bespoke guest experiences in everything they do.
We set out on a strategic brand refresh with an aim to strengthen the relationship with a target audience, improve employee buy-in, and enhance marketing campaigns. The brand identity centres around a contemporary and elegant serif wordmark that echoes not only the building’s many arches but also the classical parterre garden. The identity uses a mix of premium yet calming tones reflecting the colour palette throughout the hotel and the natural lush woodlands surrounding the property. We worked alongside the senior management team to craft the strategic positioning and supporting messaging for the project. The positioning set out the intention for guests’ experiences. To create luxury countryside experiences beyond expectation connecting people with nature, food and leisure.
